The Clarity Audit

Start here. Know what you are working with.

Clean light grey desk surface with a plain notebook, pen and blank paper in soft natural light.

Most organisations commission the Clarity Audit because something isn't working and they can't quite name what it is. Growth has slowed. Execution is inconsistent. Leadership says the right things but the organisation isn't moving in the same direction. The strategy is sound. The delivery isn't.

The Clarity Audit establishes why.

It is a structured assessment of whether an organisation has the conditions for strategic clarity to exist and land. Not whether the strategy is right. Whether the conditions for executing it are in place.

What it assesses

Three areas. The same three areas the research consistently shows determine whether strategy becomes execution or quietly disappears.

Leadership capability and alignment

Whether the leadership team has a shared, coherent view of strategic direction, and whether that view is strong enough to hold under the pressure of day-to-day operations.

Strategic clarity

Whether the strategy exists in a form the organisation can actually act on. Not just whether it has been communicated, but whether it is specific enough, coherent enough, and stable enough to determine decisions at every level.

Communications infrastructure and rhythm

Whether the organisation has a reliable system for carrying strategic direction through its layers consistently. Not campaigns or content, but the structural discipline that ensures what leadership intends reaches the people responsible for delivering it.

What you get

A written report covering all three assessment areas with specific, prioritised recommendations, in the order they should be addressed.

Evidence gathered through ExCo interviews, employee pulse survey, focus groups and communications audit.

A readout session with the commissioning executive.

A scoped proposal for ClarityOS Advisory or ClarityOS Monthly if you wish to proceed. There is no obligation to do so.

Who commissions it

PE operating partners who want an independent view of organisational conditions in a portfolio company, before or after acquisition, or at any point where execution risk is a concern.

CEOs and COOs who know something structural is getting in the way and want an honest, external assessment before deciding how to address it.

Fee

Pricing is available on request. The Clarity Audit is a standalone engagement. There is no obligation to proceed further.
